Whitetail Herd

The Herradura Ranch has long been regarded as one of the finest South Texas deer hunting ranches in the state. Catering to clients from across the country, the Ranch has become a hunting tradition for many of our customers.

The 7,000 acre ranch is dedicated to trophy management of whitetail deer and quality property and nutrition programs for both our big game as well as our upland bird populations.

Our sole goal is to continue to improve on the Ranch's stellar reputation as one of the top hunting operations in the country.

 

Herradura Ranch

Located on over 7,000 acres of extensively improved and fertile land bordering the Nueces River, the Herradura Ranch has miles of underground irrigation systems, 400 acres of protein rich crops cultivated for the wildlife.

Our management scheme is augmented with year round feeding programs producing trophy game which affords countless opportunities for the sporting enthusiast.

About the Golden Triangle


The Golden Triangle area of South Texas has long been associated with bountiful game, ruggedly beautiful terrain superb sporting opportunities for hunter.

Extraordinary whitetail deer, Rio Grande turkey, mourning and whitewing dove, blue and bobwhite quail all make their home in this famous region of Texas.

The natural vegetation or this ecosystem is comprised of mesquite trees, black brush, juajilla, prickly pear, sagebrush and a variety of other forbes and grasses that provide excellent nutrition for antler production and quail habitat.


The 7,000 acres of rugged terrain provide the quentisential nursery for typical south Texas trophy deer.
The largemouth bass found in the Ranch's 30 small lakes and ponds provide exciting afternoon fishing opportunities.
